Chia Pudding

Why Chia Pudding?

​

The main ingredient Coconut milk in this pudding has heart healthy fats. Coconuts have Lauric Acid which have anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties which aid in boosting immune system. Research suggests that coconut milk has MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides) which enable weight loss through a process called thermogenesis or heat production

 

Chia seeds are tiny seeds but rich in nutrients such as Fiber, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Antioxidants, Iron and Calcium

 

Honey is rich in Antioxidants and has Antimicrobial and Antiviral properties 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Coconut Milk

  • 4 tablespoons Organic Honey (you can use Maple Syrup too)

  • 6 tablespoons Chia seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Essence

  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds/walnuts/cashews (mixed nuts)

Instructions:

​​

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender except chia seeds and nuts

  2. Add in Chia seeds 

  3. Top with mixed nuts

  4. Pour into bowl and refrigerate for 4-6 hours
