Sesame Green Beans


  • 1 lb Green Beans (haricot vert)

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook beans in pot of boiling water until crisp but tender (about 6-8 minutes) and drain.

  2. In a skillet or pan warm the olive oil and add sesame seeds. Cook for about one minute.

  3. Add the cooked beans along with salt and pepper. Cook for another 3-5 minutes stirring so beans are coated with sesame seeds and Olive Oil

  4. Turn heat off – drizzle with sesame oil and stir.


Serving options: as a vegetable side for lunch or dinner
